All Kinds of Minds was founded in 1995 by Dr. Mel Levine and financier Charles Schwab to translate the latest research on how children learn into programs, products, and services that help students struggling in school become more successful learners.

All Kinds of Minds offers onsite courses to individual school groups and participants through open enrollment in regularly scheduled courses held across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. All courses are facilitated by a national team of hand-selected educators who are trained by All Kinds of Minds. Pricing for courses varies, depending upon program selection. Registration is conducted on the All Kinds of Minds website.

All Kinds of Minds is a non-profit organization that translates the latest research from neuroscience and other disciplines on how children learn – and vary in their learning – into a powerful framework that educators can use in the classroom. All Kinds of Minds offers breakthrough ideas and practical solutions that unlock the potential of all children who learn differently. We do this by delivering professional development programs such as our flagship Schools Attuned Program, raising awareness about learning variation through our public education and outreach, synthesizing the latest research on the brain and learning for dissemination and having an impact on education policy and practices. We help students, educators, and parents who have given up, reclaim hope and confidence through our proven programs and research-based strategies.

Every learner’s neurodevelopmental profile of learning is composed of specific strengths and weaknesses. We believe every mind is unique and that we should help educators and students understand their differences. The framework that guides our work stems from the theory that the human brain is made up of a network of neurodevelopmental functions. A subgroup of these brain functions is responsible for learning and academic performance. And, at any point, the strength of these functions can directly influence learning in and out of school.
